Running a small internal tool with HOTP and hitting random failures. Things were fine, then after a weekend of testing the codes started failing. Pretty sure the team advanced the token app a bunch and the server didn’t follow. Looking for a clear resync checklist I can share with non-technical coworkers, plus a few guardrails so this doesn’t happen again when more people join. Simpler is better.
